On August 16, 2017 I placed an order for a mattress. Ashley does not deliver-Morris Home Furniture-parent company-does. I paid and my first delivery was set up. The morning of my delivery I received a call from Morris that my mattress would not be delivered because it did not arrive. I called the number on my paperwork and they acted surprised and confused. Ashley was blaming Morris, so we got on a 3 way call with Morris. Morris representative blamed Ashley. Another delivery was set the following week. Day before delivery, Morris called-no mattress! Upon calling Ashley again and Morris....no mattress! Neither company seemed to care or were concerned with the fact that this mattress order was not getting full filled. I was placed on hold for an extremely long period of time, was lied to many times during the 3 way call, was told I would receive a call from a manager-never got those call backs at all, was told would be called first thing in the morning-I had to call them at noon to see what was going on, and was told call would be returned in 2 hours and it was 5 hours later!! All this and there still was no mattress getting delivered! Today, no mattress with no answer as to where my mattress was or when it would be delivered, I asked the representative to cancel my order. I stated that I would purchase my mattress from another company that would be able to actually get a delivery done. I will NEVER purchase from Morris or Ashley again. We went to Lower Valley Furniture-3 generation family owned business-and bought our dining room and family room furniture. Bought on Sunday and delivered 2 days later!!! They will be getting my money from now on! I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know that asks!! If I could have selected 0 stars....I would have!!
We purchased a breakfast table, dining room table and chairs and a large sectional. All three were delivered with issues. Sectional had a rip, table won’t open to put leaf in it. The breakfast table actually had a screw in the tabletop. They have been back to my house 5 times picking up and replacing the junk. A repair guy knocked on my door at 7am on a Sunday, he almost got shot. We will have to wait a month to get the formal dining room table, hope it’s here before thanksgiving and without issue. Everyone I spoke with from Ashley never sounded surprised or said sorry. Go spend your money elsewhere people, my $6000 I spent there was a headache.
I'm in the process of searching for a new living room set, and Monique has been a great help!! She has gone out of her way to try and meet all my needs. I look forward to making my purchase with her!
The two delivery drivers were very polite and professional. They delivered my new bedroom furniture on time and assembled it very quickly and efficiently.
